Volunteer Opportunities
Many of our students volunteer in their spare time and give services to local community projects examples:
- Reforestation program
- Maintain the Mayan Biosphere.
- Preserving Botanical Knowledge
- Women’s association for the revival of the traditional Mayan Itza medicine.
- Collecting raw material in the forest
- Making traditional medicine like cream, soap, teas, tincture, oil, and syrup.
At the Spanish school Mundo Maya, we take an active interest in the community and we encourage our students to participate in other activities and local community projects there are many outside activities in which our students may become involved.
